But that's part of testing I guess, seeing what happens in different situations. Oh it's me completely and you're right it's not an entirely normal thing to do.
#PULSE SECURE NETWORK CONNECT FULL#
We only allow them to use the full Pulse Secure VPN client on our corporate devices, and when they are on there they can access all the web based stuff through the vpn tunnel anyway. We do have some web portal based stuff, but we have our users use a separate URL for it. Are your users actually doing this, or is this something you found in your own testing? I doubt a normal user would connect to it, and then disconnect themselves from the Pulse client causing this issue.

If you simply leave the Pulse Secure client connected and disconnect when you've finished with everything it's not a massive issue, but with Network Connect the IP connection and the Web Portal session were treated as two different things.īecause I only have one SSL VPN it's difficult to test this on something else to know if it's expected behaviour so I wondered if anyone here has any experience of this type of scenario? When you try to access something from the web portal it thinks you've disconnected. Then disconnect the Pulse Secure client so you no longer have IP connectivity but you haven't yet disconnected from the Web Portal. Use some Bookmarks (web, RDP, whatever) from the Web Portal.Login to the VPN Web Portal and launch Pulse Secure.I'd like (and at some point will have no choice) to switch to Pulse Secure client but I've noticed something a little odd happening. Your computer must meet the health check requirements to access these features. We use a Pulse Secure VPN and until now we've used the Network Connect component for IP level connectivity. Network Connect (Pulse Secure application client) Network connect provides network level VPN and remote desktop access.
